Our Mission
Cedar Grove Baptist Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love people, and serve the world. We are a community of believers in Leeds, Alabama, rooted in the truth of Scripture and passionate about seeing lives transformed by the grace of God.
Our Vision
Everything we do at Cedar Grove flows from three core commitments — three ways we live out our calling as followers of Jesus.
Our walk of faith starts with knowing God through Jesus. We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, and that faith comes by hearing and responding to it. We grow in belief through worship, prayer, and studying Scripture together.
The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. We gather every week to worship together, study the Word in small groups, and encourage one another. At Cedar Grove, you are known, loved, and needed.
We become like Jesus when we love who Jesus loves: the Church, our neighbors, and the world. Discipleship is a lifelong journey of surrender, service, and transformation by the Holy Spirit.
Cedar Grove is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, sharing in Great Commission work with SBC churches across the world through the Cooperative Program.
Located at 2001 Cedar Grove Road in Leeds, AL, we have served this community for generations, sharing the love of Christ with our neighbors.
